In case you are taking an online class or the semester is part of online training, the primary platform for university classes is Google Classroom. You can find more information on Neptun, including what MOME G Suite is for, how to access Teams and other learning software legally as a student.

Google services with a mome.hu email address

After enrolment, all students receive an email address ending in @g.mome.hu, the first section of which will be the same as the email address used for admission and for registration in Neptun.

Meaning that if someone in Neptun uses this email address: kovacs.csiga.mihaly3@gmail.com, their G Suite email address will be kovacs.csiga.mihaly3@g.mome.hu.

All students receive their login details via email.

The use of the @g.mome.hu email address is not mandatory for students, but it is recommended, as this account has virtually unlimited storage space due to the university registration and is separate from private correspondence. The email address is terminated when the student status is terminated.

You can also use Microsoft Office software and services with a university email address.

Active students can also request an email address with felhasznalo@my.mome.hu format. This allows them to use O365 online services and Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus.

Use of Microsoft software on privately-owned devices

The Clean Software Programme offers the possibility to use Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus on students’ own computers. To use the software package, you must register at https://o365.oh.gov.hu/.
