After his graduation at the Royal Danish Academy (KADK), Daniel returned to his hometown Budapest to establish his own architectural studio working in architectural and interior design, public installations, scenography and exhibitions. Daniel co-founded “studio B”, a degree level course at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME), consisting of short and long term seminars, lectures, workshops and courses, loosely themed on the subject “spatial design” with the main focus on the relation between nature and humans. Since 2016, Daniel has also been a member of Artus Studio, an interdisciplinary collective of contemporary artists, including scenographers, choreographers, sculptors and a theatre group.
Prior to establishing his own practice, Daniel was a member of the Atelier of Pritzker winning architect Peter Zumthor (CH) where he participated in projects such as the Allmannajuvet Zinc Mine Museum and the New Atelier building in Haldenstein. Daniel also joined the Pritzker winning studio of RCR Arquitectes in Spain and worked for the London based studio of John Pawson.
Daniel’s realized projects are published worldwide: top 10 retail shops by FRAME magazine, DETAIL, dezeen, designboom, DOMUS magazine, among many others.
