Anna Török MOME Alumna Film Competes for Main Prize in Trieste

The film by Anna Török, Media Design alumna, titled Day-in day-out was invited to the competition programme of the Italian Shorts International Film Festival, where Anna defended her portfolio in 2020 in the undergraduate course, where the concept and script of her film were key parts. The audience in Trieste will be able to see the film on 9 July, which is also the premiere of her thesis created in collaboration with the production company Umbrella. The filmmaker will also present the work processes and the inspirational background of the film on the event. Participation in the online programmes of the hybrid festival is free of charge, but is subject to registration which you can make here.

The short film Day-in-day-out is a film with specifically female perspective, which focuses on a toxic relationship where the other party’s harmful lifestyle (depression, lack of ambition, narcissistic features, etc.) strongly influences the life of the main character. It raises questions about the radical distortion of the personality, the reflections given to life situations familiar to many, and about the ability or inability to change.
