János Priskin, a MOME Student Wins Jumpthegap’s Top Prize of Ten Thousand Euros for the Best Project, in the Student Category.

We have previously reported that János Priskin, a design student at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, won the €10,000 grand prize for the best project in the student category at the Jumpthegap international design competition in Barcelona, wrote barcelona.mfa.gov.hu.

The Jumpthegap competition is a biannual initiative of Roca, the global leader in the design and manufacture of bathroom products in Spain, in collaboration with the Barcelona Design Centre (BDC).

Another MOME design student, Simon Mayer, was among the four finalists competing for the grand prize. At the awards ceremony, Kitti Udvaros, Economic Attaché of the Hungarian Consulate in Barcelona personally congratulated the Hungarian talents.
