Product Design MA
The training structure is defined by the subject IES, which is a synthesis of three basic methodological approaches - industrial design, experimental design, and services and systems. Students can learn about current economic, social, environmental and societal challenges through a broad range of design topics. During their studies, they are given individual and team assignments of varying length and intensity to prepare for the masterwork concluding the two-year course.
In the course of the complex diploma process, students will not only create a product, but will also be able to synthesise the findings of comprehensive research, as well as present their own concepts, products and design approach by mastering various presentation techniques.
The teaching portfolio of the MA programme also involves cooperation with national and international companies, as well as governmental and non-governmental organisations. In addition to the automotive training that offers uniquely high standards in regional comparison and prepares talent succession for several global brands such as Mercedes, KIA and Audi, graduates can become significant players in Hungarian and international creative industry either by founding their own studios (e.g. Flying Objects, Maform, Plydesign) or by joining the leading design teams of international companies (e.g. Philips, Electrolux).
